Welcome to the Shooters Development Module 1 Pistol Course. This course is designed for those who have limited experience with their gear and are seeking to establish a baseline performance in holster draws, presentation fundamentals, basic weapon manipulations, and shooting fundamentals. Our instructors will break down each section of the shooting process starting with proper gear placement and will lead into developing our students to be capable and competent shooters. We will identify sound technique and application of proper holster draws, smooth presentations, and of course strong shooting fundamentals. This is a fun and informative entry level class for those ready to get started with their gear and advance their shooting performance.

Location: Lopez Canyon Shooting Range 15140 Bailey Rd, Sylmar CA

Required Gear List:

• Semiautomatic Pistol         
• 3 Magazines 
• Duty/ Range Belt with magazine holsters
• Dump pouch highly encouraged
• Kydex holster, Level 2 or 3 holster, or a CCW inside the waistband (IWB) holster (SERPA or any soft style holsters are prohibited due to potential risks of negligence) 
• Range attire (closed toe shoes, recommend jeans or cargo style pants, full body covering shirts or long sleeve shirts. Jewelry wear at your own risk, hats are also recommended) 
• Eye and Ear Protection
• Water bottle highly encouraged
• Sack lunch or snacks are highly encouraged. 
• Range Bag is highly encouraged with cleaning tools and basic range supplies. 
• IFAK's  (Individual First Aid Kits) are welcomed and appreciated 
• Identification CADL, Valid state ID etc. 
• 200 Rounds minimum ( No steel core, incendiary, or tracer ammo per Range rules, please respect their facility, we will conduct an ammo check prior to going live, thank you).
