Welcome to the PID (Positive Threat identification) Shooting & Development course. This course is a defensive firearms training curriculum that will test our students shooting skills, thinking skills and reactive responses to threats. This course can be completed with both an exposed carry rig or an inside the waistband (IWB) CCW holster configuration. Our instructors will set the stage with specifically designed training targets to aid in Positive Identification of a threat and prepare the range for stress testing scenarios. Students will be given the opportunity to develop their situational awareness, their observations skills, and decision making skills all while shooting at a high performance standard. This is an advanced course for professionals and active CCW holders. All shooters must have an acceptable training prerequisite and have demonstrated their proficiency behind the trigger. While this is still a shooting refinement class, the emphasis will be using hard skills during the application of threat assessments and response to these threats. Be prepared for a competition style range set up with realistic targets having both threat and go no/go shooting scenarios.
